In February 2026, the Director of our third-party testing laboratory, Enzo Galetto, concluded his professional journey with a well-deserved retirement, leaving a profound mark on our organization and across the entire sector.

After many years at ITT, where he specialized in testing using inertial brake dynamometers, he built an outstanding body of technical expertise and engineering culture.

He became an expert in the main performance, durability, and NVH tests, including: ISO 26865, SAE J2522 (AK Master), JASO, ECE-R90, ECE-R13, UIC 541 (Railway), SAE J2521 (Squeal Noise Matrix Procedure) and SAE J2598 (Disc Thickness Variation – DTV). Over time, he expanded his expertise to tests according to OEM, Tier 1, and Tier 2 specifications, as well as tailored testing for every product need.

He developed advanced competence in brake emissions analysis, including the measurement of particulate matter (PM10 and PM2.5), supporting regulatory compliance and R&D activities.

His work included brake emission requirements under Euro 7 regulations and homologation testing according to UN GTR No. 24, using advanced methodologies for measuring brake emissions on test benches, dynamometers, and other specialized equipment.

Enzo Galetto retires: excellence in brake testing and dynamometers

His knowledge, combined with rigorous methodology and technical vision, made him a recognized reference well beyond the company.

In 2007, he joined the TecSA Group as Head of the R&D laboratory.
Under his leadership, the laboratory grew significantly: expansion of staff, broader brake testing activities, development of new competencies, and entry into advanced research fields.
He led complex projects, extending activities into the defense sector and helicopter rotor applications, strengthening the company’s reputation as a top-level technical partner in brake and dynamometer applications.

His role went far beyond test execution. Thanks to his experience, he supported clients with high-value consultancy.

His ability to analyze results and identify solutions improved performance, design, and reliability of components, often transforming a brake and dynamometer test into an opportunity for innovation.

He combined technical precision, organizational capability, and an innovative mindset, contributing decisively to the company’s structural and qualitative growth.

His value went beyond results. Enzo was, above all, a person of great integrity: always kind, approachable, and ready to help. He trained professionals, shared knowledge generously, and built relationships based on trust and respect.

We express our sincere gratitude for his commitment, expertise, and humanity. His contribution remains a reference for all of us.
Thank you, Enzo, for everything you built and shared every day.
